How to Check a Water in Fish ON-Line

Fish ON-Line is the practical map step. Search for the lake, river, bay, or nearby place, then write down the Fisheries Management Zone for the exact water. Do not rely only on the closest town or the broad region name.

After the FMZ is clear, read the Ontario Fishing Regulations Summary for that zone. Read the species row first, then scan species exceptions, waterbody exceptions, and fish sanctuaries for the same zone.
